The Recon has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery that does not need to be recharged for up to 6 months, making the Recon the most portable and travel-friendly hidden camera detector. One-touch operation allows anyone to use this counter-surveillance tool, no matter the skills or training.  Simply face the LED lights away from your face, place the viewfinder of the Recon® to your eye, and scan the room.  The area will appear as a field of red and any hidden camera lens will appear as a bright flickering light. The Recon® does not rely on any transmission frequency to detect a hidden camera, but rather the Recon detects the curvature of the lens in the hidden camera itself.  This means that the Recon® spy cam detector finds all of the hidden cameras in the room, no matter if they are turned on or not! 

Included with your Recon® is a dummy pinhole lens so that you can practice at home with the dummy lens prior to using the product in a real-world setting, ensuring that when in the field you will know exactly what to look for
